As a response to the left’s incessant tormenting of President Donald Trump, actress Lindsey Lohan posted on social media in support of the president.
On Monday, Lohan responded on Twitter to an article describing Trump’s proposal to assist a terminally ill British baby, Charlie Gard.
“THIS IS our president,” Lohan posted on Twitter. “Stop #bullying him & start trusting him.”
“Thank you personally for supporting #THEUSA,” she wrote in support of Trump.
Reactions to Lohan’s tweet were mixed, some supported the actress while others criticized her.
“Trump has done a lot of good in his life,” one user said in support of Lohan’s comments. “You’ll just have to manage like we did under Ocommie.”
Another person replied to someone who wrote “resist,” “What are you resisting? Helping vets, getting criminals out of USA, saving the coal industry, the DOW going up? Very sad. #MAGA”
One person commented on Lohan’s past substance abuse issues.
“You may have a blind spot, girlfriend. Call your sponsor?” the person exclaimed.
Lohan has defended Trump is the past. Soon after Trump was inaugurated as president, the actress expressed that the American public should band together and “join him.”
“I think always in the public eye you’re going to get scrutinized,” she exclaimed while answering questions on a Facebook Live Q&A session with The Daily Mail. “He is the president — we have to join him. If you can’t beat him, join him.”
