North Korea Responds to Trump’s ‘Fire and Fury’ Threat, Makes Fun of His Golf Game

After President Donald Trump threatened to unleash “fire and fury” against North Korea, the country responded by making fun of Trump’s golf game and ridiculing his comments.

“The U.S. President at a [golf] links again let out a load of nonsense about ‘fire and fury,’ failing to grasp the on-going grave situation…” North Korean General Kim Rak Gyom wrote in a statement,

“It seems that he has not yet understood the statement,” he added. “Sound dialogue is not possible with such a guy bereft of reason and only absolute force can work on him.”

The statement was issued as a reaction to Trump’s comments to reporters on Tuesday.

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States,” Trump announced. “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

“He has been very threatening, beyond a normal state,” he said further, “and as I said, they will be met with fire, fury, and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before. Thank you.”

In America, Trump received mixed reactions as a result of his comments. Both Republican and Democratic Senators criticized the president, arguing that his remarks do not help the current situation. Others applauded Trump for strong stance.

Over the past few month, North Korea has continuously tested its missiles which has been denounced throughout the world. New reports have surfaced that suggest North Korea now possesses the capabilities to place nuclear warheads on missiles that can reach as far as the United States.
